Each of these photographs represents an elapsed time of 10 minutes, and was made while the wind was blowing through our gardens outside our home.
My homemade digital 8x10-inch camera captures each image in a sequence of vertical slices, starting at one side of the 8x10-inch ground glass and finishing at the other side 10 minutes later. Each photograph could be thought of as a graph of the changing intensity of the wind on the vertical axis, over a period of time on the horizontal axis.
Each digital image was printed to show the edges of the 8x10-inch groundglass.
