In 1984, I lived on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle and enjoyed wandering around with my old wooden view camera. One day, I followed a narrow path through some blackberry bushes and found the Interbay P-Patch, which is a city-owned plot of land on top of a former landfill, where the public is allowed to plant gardens. I made photographs there for two years.
